Autumn Moon Festival

With Chinese New Year 2019 (4717) right around the corner (starts Feb 5),  I should probably blog about Autumn Moon Festival which happened in September.

Autumn Moon Festival is a quiet holiday for us. We used to attend a gatherings years ago, but not many people seem to celebrate this holiday around here anymore. So, we celebrate it ourselves!

We always bake our mooncakes (cookies). They are always good, but this batch was really delicious. I think I added a touch more sugar than I usually do.

And of course, we try to gaze at the moon. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating very well. We had a lot of clouds that night...

We did manage to get a couple of glimpses of it!

Hope you all enjoyed some moon-gazing too!
