Chongqing City is known for many things like hot pot, fog, being a mountain city and for being one of China's furnaces. Because of this, we've been nervous of the 100 degree temperatures and humidity above 90%. Well,we got lucky! While it's been hot, it's been fairly similar to Atlanta's climate with temperatures not above 86 degrees. We fly to Guangzhou tomorrow and that is gonna be HOT!
7 Kind Words:
WOW I hope that you get nice cool days.
Lucky for you! Nachang was hotter than you know what! Guanzhou was cooler but it is still hot. Go check out the pool if your at the WS. It is 2:50 am here and Miss Karlee just went back to sleep. Jet lag is kicking in for all of us. Good luck on your flight to Guangzhou and have a great stay! FYI, if your sick of the food, check out Lucy's. Danny's bagel had the best macaroni and they will deliver! Good luck you almost done and will be home in no time at all.
Guangzhou... the shopping paradise, right?!! You can always have a swim or nice cold shower after shopping!!!
Yeah ~ Guangzhou and then a little plane ride and your home :D
BTW ~ Kathy and Lisa are coming over for lunch and you know we are going to be all mushy talking about Briana :D We will miss you, but can't wait to meet Miss B.
I'm glad the weather has been nice for you, but....umm....where's my Briana picture this morning?
OMG - you are sooooo lucky!!!
OK - Guangzhou...will be like a vacation. They breakfast buffet is insane!!! The omlets are great as is the fresh mango. YUM! If you walk out of the hotel (where all the shops are) and make a right - direct ahead you will see some stores. The one on the corner (I cannot remember the name..) is where we did our laundry. VERY cheap and the girls are sooo sweet! One of the girls is named Tian (like Hannah) and she is so pretty. If you go tell her Colleen, Shirley and Sam said hi! She will remember Hannah Tian. Have fun! You will do better shopping off of the main street. MUCH better price wise.
Time is now going by so quickly it seems! Your off to Guanzhou and then home! Enjoy the rest of the experience! Sending our love.
