We knew it was going to be a very short trip, but it did go by in the blink of an eye (above is a silver Christmas tree in the hotel). It was a bit sad to go home, but I missed my cat and I needed to water my live Christmas tree - heh.

I watched the movie "Ad Astra" on the way home. It was good, kind of weird - but pretty good...
There are still so many things we haven't seen or experienced yet in NYC, so I know we will go back there one day for sure.
Right now, Bri is on her winter break and we decided to just stay home this week. I am still recuperating from all my throat trauma and anxiety. Bri is just plain exhausted from school. Doug is working away. We have some things planned around town to keep us busy enough this week, but our focus is all about rest. Not sure what we will do for Spring Break - playing it by ear. But I think we will do something low key and fun.
