Day 2 - Central Park

After stopping in the Shoppes At Columbus Circle, we headed toward Central Park. We wanted to experience a horse and buggy ride.

On the way, we stumbled across another holiday fair with lots of vendors. This booth was amazing. I loved all of these lamps (sadly I didn't get one)...

So many birds flying around and in the trees (it was kind of eerie actually!)...

We found the line for the horse carriages but there was a bit of a wait. It was ok with us - we didn't mind waiting. The weather was brisk but beautiful and the sky was so blue.

We got to see all the pretty horses every time passengers were picked up...

There was a group of people waiting right in front of us that specifically wanted a red carriage and a brown horse. Not sure why. So when the gaudy tacky awesome purple and black carriage with the white horse came along, they allowed us to go in front of them. We thought it was so fun!

Marshmallow is a retired race horse. He likes to go fast - LOL! So our trek throughout Central Park was a bit of a faster pace than some of the other carriages. He was ready to go!

We stopped at the famous Cherry Hill Fountain (which wasn't running) for some pictures and it gave some time for Marshmallow to have a snack...

We drove all around the park and had a great time. We were a bit tired, so we decided to go back to our room, rest and get some room service before going to see the show.
