Savannah - Day 4 (July 4th Day)

I am pretty sure my favorite day of the trip was July 4th. We knew the pool would be insane that day (people were already reserving chairs at 7AM), so we skipped the pool and booked a dolphin tour instead. Our captain was Drew and he was really nice.

Here is his boat...

Quick pic of Miss B before getting on the boat...

Look at those sassy nails...

Let's roll...

We started off slowly and then we started moving faster. Briana got the biggest smile on her face. In her world, fast is good...

She chilled on the way out there as well too...

Lots of pelicans around...

Buoy for crab fishing...

Now where are those dolphins?

In the distance, Doug spotted the dolphins. Drew stopped the boat and within 30 seconds the dolphins swam up to the boat. They were playing around and checking us out...

Drew said they were females because females swim in packs while males are loners...

They swam around us for almost 10 minutes and then they swam away. See ya later...

Then Drew asked if Briana wanted to sit in the shade and drive the boat a little bit (under his supervision of course)...

Briana started to look a bit tired and I put her on my lap. We had gotten up pretty early to meet the boat. As we headed back to the dock, Briana dozed in my arms...

Heading back to the hotel...

I was sad the ride was over. It was so fun and relaxing. Bri perked up immediately when I saw that the hotel had some painting set up for the kids...

After the craft making, we took one last trip across the water to River Street for lunch at Vic's On The River. It was absolutely delicious. The crawfish beignet appetizer was amazing!

And here is my little 4th of July firecracker...

Next post - fireworks!!!!
