Chinese Lantern Festival

The Chinese Lantern Festival came back to Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta and it was bigger and better than ever. I don't think I have ever seen lanterns so large. Everything was so amazingly beautiful.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves...

Everywhere you looked, there were gorgeous colored lanterns. When the lanterns return (and hopefully they will), we will definitely be there again.

The Chinese Lantern Festival also provides entertainment ~ Chinese acrobats...

This girl danced like a peacock ~ she was amazing...

After seeing all the lanterns and the acrobats, we were hungry. We headed over to "Cooks and Soldiers" restaurant for dinner ~ the food is truly phenomenal...

My best gal...

My two favorites...

A "bikini" sandwich ~ ham, cheese and truffle spread. It is seriously one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten...

Pork lion and vegetables...

It was a great way to start off the new year.

Unfortunately the first two months of this year have been bit tough for me (mainly health wise), but hopefully come March, things will start looking up. Let's hope!
