Briana told me that she did not want a big party for her 16th birthday. She said she preferred to take a trip to NYC to see a Broadway show and go shopping on 5th Avenue. So, that is what we did. She fell in love with the music from Beetlejuice the Musical, and that is the show we went to see. Overall, the trip was terrific.Like with any trip, there were hiccups (like our hotel room not being ready for us when it should have been very ready, little squabbles here and there, us feeling quite tired after a long day of shopping, slight altitude sickness, a very loud concert in Times Square that lasted way longer than it should have). It happens. That is life and you have to just get past that annoying stuff and enjoy all the really good stuff. This trip had way more good than bad - much, much more.
So, my next few posts will focus on the good, fun, amazing, beautiful, delicious, entertaining time we had.
