A Day At The Family Farm - Year 4

Doug, Bri and I met Kathy, Matt and Chani and Lisa and Maisie at Cagle's Family Farm on Sunday morning. It was just opening when we arrived and it was nice not having to fight any crowds. It was quite cold though, so the girls asked for coats, hats and gloves. Once they started running around the corn maze though, they started to warm up and the heavy clothes came off.

This is a wonderful tradition that Kathy, Lisa and I have kept over the last four years. You can see past visits - Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 (Parts 1 and 2).

I cannot call the farm a dairy farm this year. The farm is no longer a working dairy farm and milk processing plant, but they do still maintain a herd of dairy cows and other various farm animals. And they still have the corn maze and farm tour - so the girls were very happy.

Luckily, we did finally emerge from the maze and the girls wanted to do some jumping...

Let's try to do what Maisie can do!!! ~

Three adorable girls...

It was a wonderful morning. The girls had a blast and so did the adults. Briana was so excited to be with her girlfriends that she experienced several bouts of "selective hearing" that day. Ahem. She was running ahead of the group a lot and was not paying enough attention to what Mommy and Daddy had to say. I have said this a number of times before - I love my gal's enthusiasm, but sometimes I wish she could just take it down a notch. Just one. That is all I ask. :D

After the farm, we decided to grab a late lunch at a hibachi restaurant. Of course, all the girls ordered noodles and drank pink lemonade...

Another wonderful memory made!!!!
