We had a wonderful, fun-filled Labor Day weekend. And like we do each Labor Day weekend, we went to the Pioneer Days festival.
You can visit past years...
We made it!!!!
And just like last year, we went with friends K, A and K...
There was rain in the early afternoon. That meant a muddy ground, but it really wasn't too bad. We got there around 5 and the temps cooled nicely after the rain...
Two sweet girls...
The girls started off on the kid-friendly rides...
This is the first year that Bri didn't ride this fishy ride... :(
Then it was time for our first time around on the Ferris wheel...
Bri "won" this. (The game is so easy - there's always a winner!)...
We ate some dinner and then Briana started taking her ride experience up a notch...
Pretty sunset...
Then Bri took it up another notch. Bri and Doug rode the Himalaya. It goes FAST and backwards at times. She had the biggest smile on her face with her hands up the entire time...
I couldn't stop laughing at how much fun Briana was having. She wasn't scared at all...
Another game...
Our second Ferris wheel ride...
Bri didn't want mom and dad for this one, she wanted to ride with K, A and K!
The final ride of the night!!!
The fair was so much fun! The only downside was that there was no bungee to jump on this year. Boo!!!
I can always look back at Bri's bungee last year...
I'll talk about the rest of the weekend in my next post!
