Time In A Bottle

I can't really express in words what this trip meant to me (and to Doug). Doug and I waited so long for a child, and as we walked around the streets of Gatlinburg, I felt complete and happy. I took everything in. There were so many times on this trip that I was on the brink of tears because I watched my little girl having such a good time, and I was getting to enjoy special moments and create beautiful memories with my daughter and husband.

Here is a video I put together of what a wonderful time we had together. If only I could save time in a bottle.

And I am really starting to get that Christmas feeling. I don't think I had it until after this trip. We visited the Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge and there was "The Singing Santa." Briana enjoyed Santa from a far. She wasn't interested in getting near him. I don't think we will be getting a great Santa photo this year! Here is a video I took of "The Singing Santa". He was so good!!

Way to make me bawl at work! I know every feeling that you feel. I am amazed at all of our dreams that have finally come true - and just last night I said to Adam that it is all going too fast. I wish we could dave time in a bottle, but I am so thankful for each and every day.

You three make an amazing team!

What a beautiful video!!! I know exactly how you are feeling...I think it is about the 2 year mark where you start wishing you could freeze time. It is so apparent that they are not little babies anymore, but at the same time it brings us pure joy to watch their little faces experience all these new things....and understand them!!

I think this is going to be a magical Christmas....the first one the girls really understand what is going on! We are totally in the spirit here!!

So glad you all had such a wonderful trip....and btw,is it me or did Bri grow in the last week?

I loved the photos, Lisa... We had a VERY difficult time during the Tongginator's toddler years, but people would always tell me how cute she was. When I look back at video and photos, I think, 'wow ~ she truly was stinking adorable.' I wish I had cherished my time with her then as much as you are cherishing your time with Briana now.

What a beautiful video! They grow up much too fast, so treasure every moment. Our family loves Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and have many memories there. I recognized some of our favorite places!

Everytime I read your blog I am struck by how much your daughter resembles you!
