Chattanooga, Day 1 - Hotel

After driving in whiteout conditions to Chattanooga, we were so happy to arrive safely at our hotel. We stayed at new Westin in the downtown area and it was so nice.

It is gold and really hard to miss...

When we arrived, it was just flurrying, but it didn't stop Bri from sticking out her tongue...

We were there early obviously. If we hadn't left our house when we did, we wouldn't have been able to leave at all that weekend. We were happy to be sitting in the lobby of the hotel...

Nice, warm fireplace...

I snapped this pic of the patio the next day...

When we first got to the hotel, we were pretty hungry. We ate at the hotel restaurant. The ceiling was pretty...

Below is a fried green tomato BLT. It was so delicious...

After a late lunch, we finally got into our room. It was a really nice suite. This is where Bri slept (it is a pull out couch)...

Huge TV for her to watch...

This was the bedroom...

View from the room...

This was a pretty Eiffel Tower in front of the hotel...

If you ever stay in Chattanooga, I highly recommend the hotel. It was super comfortable and the staff was so nice and accommodating.

Once we got settled, it was time to freshen up and then meet our friends, the M family, for a ride on the North Pole Limited Train. More on that next...
