We decided to just stick around the resort on Day 3 of our Brasstown Valley visit - we wanted to simply chill. We spent the morning swimming and enjoying the sun...
It was a gorgeous day...
You have to have a strawberry daiquiri (kid-friendly for Bri of course) while hanging by the pool...
The resort pool is indoor/outdoor...
Doug and Bri had a lot of fun playing in the indoor part...
They ventured to the outdoor part too...
After several hours of swimming, it was time to dry off in the sun...
We had lunch at a pub in the hotel...
Doug and Bri enjoyed some dart playing...
The pub really started filling up shortly after we arrived. There were 3 weddings scheduled for that weekend, lots of people started arriving and things got really busy. Luckily, we didn't have any issues with noise in our room or anything - there was just more hustle and bustle going on than the two days before.
One bride having her wedding at the resort had TEN bridesmaids. No joke. I don't think I would have had anyone actually sitting and watching my wedding if I had that many bridesmaids standing up with me - lol! Yowza!!!
Since the resort is so close to North Carolina, we ventured across the state line the next day. More on that next...
