Trip To Chattanooga - The North Pole Limited (Santa Train)

You might remember that Doug, Bri and I took a trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee last year to kick off the Christmas season. We went with my friend Carole and her family, but unfortunately our schedules didn't mesh this year. So this year, my parents joined us for part of our trip. We took our trip the weekend of Thanksgiving. Doug, Briana and I arrived in Chattanooga on Friday afternoon and my parents arrived the next day  (so they missed the first part of the trip).

The first event planned on our trip was the Santa Train (again)! If you want information on the North Pole Limited, just click this link. I dressed Miss B up in her jammies and new robe and and the three of us headed to train. The North Pole Limited actually goes to the North Pole (wink, wink). The train goes through a magic tunnel and we end up smack at the North Pole. Santa boards the train and then we go through the magic tunnel again and head back to the station. We rode in the special car again this year in which you get to visit with Santa Claus.

In the very top picture, you will see Briana and Santa laughing together. Santa asked if Briana had been a good girl. She said yes. Then he asked if mommy had been a good girl. And Bri said yes. Then Santa asked if daddy had been a good boy. Briana paused and started to giggle. Then Santa belted out a "Ho, Ho, Ho!" I'm thinking daddy hasn't been too good. ;D

Once again, it was a magical trip. Briana loved every second of it. It is really something to see the magic of Christmas through the eyes of a 5 year old.
