Maui Vacation 2019 - Day 8/Swim Day Again

We wanted our last full day in Maui to be completely relaxing. We had experienced so much of the island that week, and we felt good just chilling.

We rented another day bed for the day...

Bri settled in quite quickly and nicely...

Another beautiful day (it did sprinkle a little bit after we had been there a couple of hours)...

The water was so cold that day for some reason, Bri couldn't let go of me at first when we got in the water...

We couldn't stop laughing...

Time to dry off a little...

Other than our first morning in Maui, we would usually just eat something quickly in our room for breakfast so we could get going to where we needed to get to - granola bar, banana, muffin, whatever was quick. Then we would enjoy our nice lunches and dinners.

For lunch on Day 8, we just ordered food poolside. 

Bri ordered grilled cheese on a delicious sweet Hawaiian bread...

I went simple and just got a hot dog (and they always serve a ton of fries!)...

This bird hung around us forever. He was a brazen little thing - not scared of humans in the least. He was looking for crumbs...

I think we stayed at the pool for maybe 3.5 or 4 hours. Having the day bed allowed us to get out of the sun when needed, which was really nice. And the breeze made the temperature just perfect.

Leaving the pool that day was tough because we knew were weren't coming back...

It was hard leaving that little slice of heaven. 

We had dinner reservations at one more really nice restaurant, so we needed to freshen up for the evening.
