Day 2 - Wicked

Bri fell in love with "Phantom of the Opera" that last time we were in NYC, so her vote was to see it again. We promised her that "Wicked" would be just as amazing.

Wicked on Broadway...

She was pretty excited...

Doug surprised us with front row tickets. Unbelievable!!!!

If we stood up, we could see right into the orchestra pit...

Briana was mesmerized with every moment of the show. We read in the playbill that the understudy was going to be playing Elphaba that evening, and we were a tiny bit bummed. But that feeling only lasted a minute or two because we realized that this understudy had actually played the lead roll of Elphaba on Broadway from August 2016- July 2017. And she was PHENOMENAL. The whole cast was phenomenal!!

Briana now owns the "Wicked" soundtrack and knows all the songs by heart. I think this may always be her all time favorite musical.

As we walked back to the hotel from the show, I did stop and get a street vendor hot dog. I had to! It's freaking NYC!!! LOL!

We had a very full day and were ready for bed. We were flying home the next day. Boo...
