Chattanooga, Day 1 - North Pole Limited

Once again, we met up with one of our favorite families, the M family, in Chattanooga for some Christmas fun. Bri and Chani have ridden Christmas trains together 4 times.

Doug and I rode the North Pole Limited with Briana alone in 2010 and 2011.

The first train the girls rode together was in Blue Ridge, Georgia...

And we were so happy when the M family started riding the North Pole Limited along with us...

I found Bri the cutest Christmas nightgown for the train and she was so excited to wear it...

We met the M family at the train. We were greeted by this nice lady...

Looking at Christmas lights at we rode along toward "North Pole Station"...

We finally arrived at the destination where we picked up Santa and Mrs. Claus (you can see them out the window)...

"Elves" were entertaining us through the window...

 Santa and Mrs. Claus boarded the train and we rode back to the main station.

Mrs. Claus visited first...

Then it was Santa's turn...

He whispered to the girls that he wanted cookies when he came with gifts on Christmas Eve...

As we rode along, Kathy and I and the girls exchanged gifts. Kathy made me this beautiful wall hanging for Christmas...

And this is the gift bag that I gave her with her Christmas gift...

Identical!! We couldn't believe it. Isn't that crazy? Great minds...

After visiting with Santa and eating some milk and cookies on the train, it was finally time to head back to the hotel.

This is a train that was passing by as we headed to the parking lot...

We had another fun day planned the next day with the M family - seeing The Nutcracker and visiting Rock City.
