Well hello there! Yep - it has been a while since I felt like blogging, but it is time to do a little catch up now.
Once again, Chinese New Year rolled around (in February this year) and we did our best to celebrate it as much as possible.

Briana loves when I decorate the house for the new year - and I love doing it for her...
We celebrated the new year a bit early when the "Chinese Acrobats of Heibi" came into town in January...
Here are some fun short videos to watch of the show...
On the first day of the Chinese New Year, Bri wore her new "Year of the Pig" Disney shirt...
We had our traditional Chinese NY dinner with three of our very favorite families. Briana wanted to dress for the occasion (I am so glad she still likes to wear her qipao dresses because she looks so pretty in them, but if/when she wants to give them up, I will be ok it)...
It was a bit chilly outside that evening...
She is getting so grown up (sniff)...
The teens/tweens waiting for their meals...
How have they grown up so fast?
Our beautiful China spicy girls...
I bought the girls stuffed pigs. They loved them! The moms asked the girls to put the pigs on their heads (Bri was not amused!)...
Love these ladies...
And Doug, Bri and I took a trip to NYC during Briana's winter break. We just happened to land in NYC on the weekend that NY Chinatown puts on its huge CNY parade. We just had to go! I will post in more detail about the parade when I do my NYC posts, but here are a couple of pictures from the day...
We love celebrating CNY! It's so fun, colorful and festive. And we love spending time with our friends and family!
