Day 1 - Rockefeller Center

Rockefeller Center is just a couple of blocks from Times Square, and it was already getting dark around 5PM. We thought it would be best to see the famous Rockefeller Christmas tree before we went to get some dinner.

It's a pretty walk...

Passing Radio City to get to Rockefeller...

And then the tree appeared...

It was SUPER crowded at the tree. But we managed to get a few pictures of us without too many other people in them...

See the crowd?

The tree was absolutely beautiful. So many colorful lights...

Me and best gal in NYC...

Breathtaking...

And if you turn around, you see the Saks Fifth Avenue light display...

We stayed for a little while looking at the tree, but it was getting more and more crowded. Finally, it was time to move on...

We were getting hungry and we hadn't had true NYC pizza when we visited in February. It was time to finally get some. Doug got a recommendation of a great restaurant from a friend and we headed to John's Pizzeria.
