Visit To The Beach

Doug's aunt, uncle and cousin live just about an hour and a half from Disney World near the beach and we thought it would be nice to stop by for an overnight visit. They had not met Briana yet and it was way overdue!

When we first arrived, they took us to a ocean side restaurant that had the cutest playground ship in the front of it...

They gave us a tour of their beautiful home and then they asked the little neighbor girl (she is four too!) from across the street and her father to go to the park with us - which is about two minutes from their house. Briana and "S" became fast friends. It was immediate!

While at the playground, Briana and a couple of little girls started to talk. Briana told them that she was born in China. Then one little girl told Briana she was Colombian. And the third little girl announced that she was Mexican. It was so cute. They were all so proud. I loved it. Here is Briana and S...

After playing for over an hour at the playground, we headed back to Doug's aunt's house to rest for a while before dinner...

That night, a Delta rocket was launched and we did see a little orange dot in the sky. Unfortunately, there were a lot of clouds and we couldn't get a great look at it.

We spent the night at a hotel right down the street from Doug's aunt's house and it was directly on the beach. Doug and Bri got up early to make a couple of sandcastles...

We met Doug's family at another adorable seaside restaurant for breakfast before we headed home. Here we all are...

I wish we could have spent more time together, but it was so nice getting to visit with them. It had been far too long! Bri keeps asking when we can go back again to see them and she is also asking when she can play with S again!
