World Of Coca-Cola - Part 2

When we walked upstairs, we admired all the beautiful bottles displayed around the building...

We jumped in line for the 4D movie because we saw it was about to start...

Bri was trying much harder to be nice at that point and she actually enjoyed the movie.

We then stopped in the "Pop Culture" lounge area...

We stopped for just a minute in the commercial theater. We really wanted to go to the tasting room, so we decided to come back to the theater afterward...

This was the part Briana really liked at the museum ~ the tasting area. She was in great spirits when we were there...

You can try drinks from all over the world...

The Italian soda "The Beverly" was super gross. The guide at the very beginning of our tour said NOT to try it, unless you are super brave. I was not brave so I didn't try it and neither did B. Doug did try it and said it was totally gross. LOL! The boy in the picture below was brave and tried it. He looked like he was trying not to get sick after he took a big gulp...

His mom and brother were standing there and we were too, and we all started laughing. I felt bad, but his face was priceless! He wasn't going to do that again!

Of course, Briana loved stopping at the Asia station...

Me and Bri after making amends...

Of course, she loved stopping in the store too...

Heading out...

I did enjoy the museum, but there were a couple of things I really missed that were at the old location and not at the "new" one.

The Spectacular Soda Fountain allowed you to taste the North American soft drinks and watch the soda flow through the room like a fountain. It was so cool. I am not sure why they didn't include this fountain in the new building. It was one of my favorite things to see...

I also missed the replica soda fountain...

At the store, Briana purchased this Coca-Cola shirt in Mandarin. It says "Please Drink Coca-Cola"...

Something she learned at the Coke museum was that she could download the Coca-Cola app and create new soda flavors to try with the freestyle Coke machines. We tried it at our local Firehouse Sub restaurant...

So in the end, the visit ended up being really nice. Bri admitted that she did have SOME fun. She just wasn't giving it a chance. No, it wasn't Disney World or Six Flags or anything super crazy exciting, but it was something new that we hadn't tried. It was interesting and fun.

The next day, we headed to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
