Chinese New Year started on January 25th, and I always like to decorate the house for the occasion...

We went to Barnes and Noble right before CNY started and they had a little display of books for the holiday...

Briana wore her Mulan shirt to school on CNY Eve...

We got together and celebrated with our dear friends once again at our favorite Chinese restaurant to celebrate the new year...

And Doug, Bri and I actually kicked off CNY a little early by attending the Chinese Lantern Festival in Atlanta on the evening of January 1st. It was a great way to kick off the regular new year and also get excited for the Chinese new year (and I will do a separate post on the festival next)...
