Rain Or Shine

Since my last post was a bit of a downer, I'll start with the "Shine" part of this post. Briana and I headed to our neighborhood swimming pool for the first time this morning and it was beautiful and sunny outside. We stayed for almost two hours, and Briana finally told she was ready to go home and have lunch. The above picture is Briana resting right before we headed home. She sat back, put her hands behind her head and said, "Ahhh." I guess we do live a pretty charmed life. :)

This is her new swimsuit. It is so cute! It also has a flotation vest that attaches to it.

And now for the "Rain" part of the post...we have been getting rain a lot in the afternoons here in GA. This is something that has not happened in years due to the drought. It was lightly raining a few days ago, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity for Briana to put on her new yellow rain boots (that she got as a gift for our 2nd referral anniversary on Saturday) and play with an old umbrella of mine.



I just love rainy afternoons...
