Back To Normal (Drawing, Shopping, Playing and Singing a Song in Chinese)

Finally, we are back to some normalcy around here! With all the hoopla of fall break over and the Footloose film crew finally gone from Bri's school, we are back in our routine. Briana not having her normal classroom at school and all the overload of the fun fall break kind of threw her into a weird mood last week. I was getting some huffiness and a little attitude from Miss B for about a week or so. Over the last few days, Briana's attitude has definitely improved - she is getting back to her normal, cheerful self again. Thursday afternoon (above pic), Briana and I sat for a few hours together working on these Puzzle Buzzes. She LOVES them and she is really good at solving the puzzles in them.

We took a trip to T@rget recently and of course all the Halloween stuff is out. There is no doubt Halloween is Bri's favorite holiday. She gets so excited. We already have her Halloween costume, but I won't tell until the big day gets closer. :)

Briana likes to doodle on the way to school in the morning and drew what she calls a "ladybug spider." She was very proud of it...

Last Wednesday afternoon, Bri met her friends C and S and the park. It was a gorgeous afternoon. We are finally feeling the fall temps. It was C's birthday, and my friend K (C's mommy) bought blended creams and scones to the park to celebrate...

I'm so glad we are back in a routine! Thank goodness!
