American Girl Outing

A couple of weeks ago, my friend Julie asked me and Briana if we would like to join her and her daughter Olivia for lunch at the American Girl store on voting day since the girls were off from school. Of course I said yes! Briana loves the American Girl store and she nor I had ever eaten in the bistro. Julie and I both voted early, so we had the entire day to hang with our girls.

Briana wanted to match her Ivy doll, so they were dressed alike when we headed out on Tuesday morning...

As Briana and I were walking into the mall, a woman sitting in her car yelled out her window, "That is the cutest thing ever!!" (meaning Briana matching her doll). :D

We arrived at 11AM, and we were seated right away...

Briana was so excited her doll got her own high chair and a cup and saucer...

Pretty Olivia matched her Julie doll as well...

We were served yummy appetizers and main courses...

What a fun day! The girls had a blast!

Sometimes it feels very surreal to be spending time with my dear friend (that I have been friends with since we were freshman in high school) and our daughters. How is that even possible? It is really amazing. :D
