This and That

We did just a little bit of this and a little bit of that last week. Last Monday was awful, terrible flood day, and Briana and I stayed put at home. I put Briana in her comfy I Heart NY shirt that day. We've never been to NY, but my dad went on a business trip there about two weeks ago and brought it home for her. Funny thing, I didn't get a present. ;) Bri looked so cute in it.

And as I worked on my last travel book last week, Briana was a craft-making mad woman. Actually, she is always a craft-making mad woman. She is always making pictures for everyone in the family. She absolutely loves construction paper, stickers, crayons and glue sticks. She will do crafts whenever she has a chance.

Last Friday, Briana and I checked out a roller skating rink not too far from our house with our friends Amy and Mary Lin. The rink has tiny tot mornings once or twice a month where little kids can ride bikes and ride ons on the roller skating rink floor. There is music and a disco ball. It's very cute. Briana had a blast, but she had more of a blast in the indoor playground of the skating rink. Bri is definitely improving in the bike skills department, but she still needs a bit of a push to keep her momentum. She gets stuck a lot. We're still working on it...



It looks like the rain is out of here for good now. It rained some on Saturday night because a cold front was coming through. This week is actually going to feel like fall! I'm so excited! Welcome October!!!
