Here is Miss B on her 2nd day of school. She looks so pretty.
I took Bri to her classroom this morning. My mission this morning was to turn in some paperwork and then also grab Bri's beloved glue stick. I walked in the room and spotted the glue stick immediately, gently sitting on top of the other boring, orange-capped sticks. I grabbed it and replaced it with two new boring, orange-capped ones.
I talked for a few minutes with Bri's teacher (she is really so sweet) and asked her how the day went yesterday. She said it went really well and she asked me if Briana had told me what the kids had seen at recess. I totally forgot to put this in my last post, but Briana explained yesterday that the class saw an armadillo hiding in the bushes. It was quite exciting news. I can't believe I didn't mention it earlier. ;D
Anyway, I told Mrs. C that Bri had told me about it and then I explained that I was taking the glue stick. I don't think she even realized there was a different type stick in the box - Bri said it was the assistant helping out yesterday that made her put it there. I am pretty sure if her teacher had known about it, she would have let Bri keep it in her box. But we both agreed it was probably a better homework glue stick anyway. Bri was very happy.
So my mission was accomplished. Heh.
The things that are important to an almost 6 year old. Sigh.
1 Kind Words:
Such a sweet mom! Hope you are doing well with Bri at school!!!
