Finishing Up December (Including A Sleepover!)

The last December post! Yay!!

The Saturday after Christmas, Doug, Bri and I drove to my aunt and uncle's house to visit with them and my cousin Jennifer and her family (Jenn was in town from FL). My parents came as well. (Unfortunately, my sister and her family were still a bit under the weather and couldn't make it.)

I had not seen Brady since he was a baby and I finally got to meet sweet Cameron.

Another gift exchange ~ the kids definitely didn't mind more presents...

It was so good to see everyone and catch up! Always a lot of laughs!

The day after Christmas, we got together with our good friend Jimmie (Uncle Jimmie to Briana) and his girlfriend. Jimmie came bearing Christmas gifts for Bri. He always give awesome gifts. Briana got this for Christmas...

And I never shared this, but Bri got this Small World China doll from him for her birthday...

The Monday after Christmas, Briana was invited to a sleepover. So, Doug and I decided to have a date night. We had a wonderful dinner at "The Spence" and stayed overnight at the W Hotel downtown.

When I went to pick Briana up the next day, she and ML looked pretty tired (because they had such a wonderful time - and huge thanks to my friend Amy).

When Bri got home, it didn't take her long to look like this...

Even though B napped during the day, she went to bed at a decent time and slept in the next morning until almost 11AM (New Year's Eve Day)!! And that was totally ok because Bri wanted to say up until midnight and she was able to because she had slept in so late.

And then it was time for a quiet New Year's Eve (which I already blogged about)...

And that is the December finale!! Now I can start blogging about 2015 - it's about time! LOL!
