We had a really fun afternoon with Chef Briana the Monday before Christmas.
Our tradition is usually making Christmas cookies with the cousins (N1 and N2). Sadly, N1 was under the weather the day my sister and I were scheduled to get together (at her house), so Bri and I had to bake cookies without the cousins at my house. We didn't want any germs getting passed around before Christmas Day.
Gramma came over to help us bake...
Briana works very hard at making Christmas cookies. It's a fine art you know...
A batch before going into the oven...
We baked and baked and then it was time to frost them...
I made this Star of David for my dad...
Some of our creations...
Santa/Yoda cookies for Doug...
Trying them out...
Bri and my mom both made big round cookies that they made into "cookie pizzas"...
That's a lot of cookies...
Oh boy are they yummy!!!!
We missed the cousins so very much, but we made the most out of it and still had fun (even though it wasn't the same!). Hoping everyone stays well for cookie baking next Christmas!!
1 Kind Words:
What a fun day!
