What is a wonderful way to celebrate the coming of the new year? Japanese hibachi, of course! Doug and I decided to have a quiet New Year's Eve celebration with just Briana this year. It was the first year in many years that we didn't have plans with anyone. Christmas was so busy and so hectic - we were just beat. We ate at a Japanese restaurant, stopped by St*rbucks to get some coffee and Briana a piece of pound cake and then we went home. After Briana fell asleep, Doug and I watched "Get Smart" and then watched the ball drop in NY on TV. It was a great way to ring in the new year.Here we are getting ready to go to dinner.
