Meet Larry

This is Larry. A new member of our family. My bloggy friend Monica and her daughter Darcy are heading on a medical mission trip to El Salvador next month. To raise funds for their trip, they created some amazingly adorable sock monkeys. I came across their Sock Monkey Adoption website and fell in love with Larry. Oh yes I did. And now he lives at our house in Georgia.

This is an excerpt from the e-mail I sent Monica...

"When Larry arrived, Briana was very excited. Within a few minutes, he ended up on her head somehow (as you will see). Not sure how that happened. They are already hanging out together and having a great time. Larry is very tired after his long journey and has already requested all of those things you mentioned – popcorn, remote, lemonade, etc. He was a little miffed that the lemonade didn’t have ice, but he said he’ll deal. France verses Mexico (World Cup) comes on in a few minutes. He is thinking it will be a good match."
