Swim Lessons

Briana is taking swim lessons!!!! Her first class was on Thursday and she loved it. I was really worried because Briana does not like to get water in her eyes, and though she still doesn't love it, she is getting more and more confident putting her head in the water. And she is even more confident when she gets to put her goggles on. My friend Amy found the girls' coach and set all this up. Thanks Amy!!! Coach Boyd is wonderful with them. And Briana gets to swim with her friends Emily Grace, Katherine and Elizabeth.

At the first lesson, they blew bubbles in the water, did kicks, jumped to coach and played games. And at their second lesson last night, they did much of the same but the girls also started learning how to float. I can't believe how much these girls have learned in just two lessons!

Bri will be taking lessons two evenings a week for the rest of the summer. I can't wait to see how much she learns!
