It is the day that changed America. It is the day that changed the world. It is definitely the day that changed my life forever.

The "safe feeling" that I had living on American soil was shattered that day - never to return. I was so ignorant before 9/11. My twenty-something year old self honestly thought that the United States was somehow invincible from foreign terrorism. I think most Americans felt that way at the time. Pretty egotistical, I know.
America had a huge, horrible and tragic wake-up call on September 11, 2001.
It is a day that no one will ever forget. I certainly know I won't.
