Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Finally! My last 2017 Christmas post!

I forgot to include in my last post that a couple of days before Christmas Eve, Doug and Bri had a daddy/daughter date at a nearby W Hotel. Room service, fancy robes and rented movies - Bri was in heaven!

While they were away for the night, Mei and I binge watched "The Crown"...

Now for Christmas Eve...

Gramma had some cards for Briana and in her gift bag, she put in a small sparkling cider bottle. Of course, Doug wanted Bri to pretend it was an adult beverage and that it was making her loopy (great parenting!)...

Gramma also gave her this globe for Christmas Eve...

Doug and I gave Bri a Christmas Eve gift as well - a couple books she really had been wanting. She immediately started reading and read the first book in a couple of hours!

This was our Christmas Eve buffet...

Briana eating her pie for dessert - and yes, Mei is sitting on her lap waiting for some crust to hopefully fall...

Putting out cookies, milk and apples. Wasn't sure we'd do this, but Bri still wanted to...

All the presents sitting under the tree...

Bri's excitement Christmas morning...

That is a lot of loot!!!

So happy with her gifts...

This was a gift from Uncle Wes and Aunt Ann for daddy, but I know someone who is going to steal it...

Doug opened his special mug from Briana...

He was over the moon. It turned out so good! Bri picked a black paint with white specks to make it look like space...

So special...

Bri made us ornaments too. She even stitched this one for me...

For dad...

In keeping with the Star Wars theme, my gifts for Doug...

Doug got me an Instant Pot!!!!

And a treadmill (this was delivered after the new year)...

Mei got some gifts too...

My adorable snowman...

Then it was time to head over the Gramma and Papa's house to celebrate some more with the cousins...

My mom had gotten Bri an Annalee giraffe a few years ago. My mom loved it, but there was only one and she gave it to B. When Bri heard this, she went searching online and found one for Gramma. She wanted her to have one so badly...

An awesome gift from Aunt Amy...

Massive sugar rush...

Panda stuff!!!

Briana gave Gramma and Papa the bowl she painted for them...

Opening gift time...

I thought these colored knives were so cool for my sister who loves to cook...

And I got them for my mom too...

Doug, my bbq guy...

A gift from my mom...

Bri had so much fun with the cousins...

Chinese food was delivered for dinner. We've been eating Chinese food on Christmas Day since we moved to GA in 1987. It is tradition now!!! And Bri absolutely loves it...

And my dad likes to buy everyone in the family a scratch off lottery ticket as a stocking stuffer each Christmas. My nephew won $50 last year with his! Now, I NEVER win scratch off tickets. Like ever. But this Christmas, I actually won $3! I was so excited over $3. And then Doug scratched off his ticket. He freaking won $20. Can you believe that? He overshadowed me! LOL!

We really had a great Christmas. Lots of memories made.
