Indoor Skydiving And The Battery

The first weekend in December, Bri's friend Mary had her 11th birthday party. She decided to have it at iFly. Bri had never indoor skydived, but she was very excited to do so.

Bri's friend Imerie was there along with one of Mary's friends from school. The girls were ready to go...

They watched the group in front of them...

It was finally time to watch an instructional video and suit up...

Mary's brother Garrett and Imerie's brother Camden wanted to skydive as well...

All the kids got to fly twice. Bri got the hang of it pretty quickly...

Then she went again. The second time she went, she got a little to low and touched the floor causing her to flip upward...

The instructor caught her and she let us know she was ok (as we belly-laughed)...

After all that flying, the kids were hungry. It was off to Wahlburgers at The Battery at Suntrust Park (where the new Braves stadium is located)...

I ordered the bbq sandwich "Mom's favorite" - it was very rich. Too much cheese unfortunately...

Mary's friend from school had to leave the party a bit early, but the other kids (and parents) decided to walk around and explore The Battery a bit. One more pic in front of the restaurant...

It started to "snow"...

 I can't believe how grown up these girls are now...

We were allowed to take a quick look at the new stadium. It is beautiful...

Right by the ball field, there are all sorts of activities for kids. The kids were so excited to see a zip line...

A very cool drum line came marching out and performed for a while...

They were so entertaining...

Imerie found a stage and started dancing to the drumming...
