Another one of the Christmas traditions we have in our house is decorating a gingerbread house. For several years, I purchased completely disassembled houses and cursed while assembling struggled to assemble them myself. Now, I buy preassembled houses so I do not have to assemble anything. Bri can just start decorating.

I let her work on her own for the longest time and this is how she decorated it...
She showed me that she put a cross on one side of the roof for the Christian side of our family...
And the Star of David on the other side of the roof for the Jewish side of our family...
Most of you know that my dad is Jewish and celebrates Hanukkah. For those of my friends who celebrate Hanukkah, I hope you had a very happy holiday...
