Other Christmas Season Happenings

Briana always enjoys showing off her Christmas spirit via fashion. Her shirt above was a present from Gramma.

Her shirt below - a dabbing, soccer snowman. Too perfect...

And I bought B a shirt with a girl and dog in a sled on it (the girl reminded me of Bri)...

It wouldn't be Christmas without seeing our neighborhood Grinch each day...

Now that Briana has six teachers, I wasn't sure what to do about teacher Christmas gifts. I thought sweet treats would be a perfect solution...

Doug waited for years to finally show Briana "Christmas Vacation" - his favorite Christmas movie. She was finally old enough this year to watch it. She laughed all through it...

Of course, the BIG December event was the opening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi...

We checked Bri out of school early on Dec 15th (not sure why it wasn't a school holiday - lol!) and took her to Movie Tavern...

We did it up right...

I really enjoyed the movie. I've heard mixed reviews, but a movie that can capture my attention for over two hours is good in my book. Doug really enjoyed it. Bri loved it of course.

Bri also had a good December 15th because she was rewarded with lunch in the media center for moving up a level in her RED Wolves Book Club at school...

Briana was so psyched on her last day of school before break (Dec 20). My girl loves her breaks...

That evening, Doug and I took her to see the Greatest Showman back at Movie Tavern. Bri loved, loved, loved this movie. She keeps asking when it will come out on DVD...

D, B and I saw two different movies in a movie theater just 6 days apart - that is unheard of for us!

So that pretty much wraps up our Christmas season happenings right up to Christmas Eve/Christmas Day.

Here is our Lego Village...

And our Nutcrackers...

My next post will be all about Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Then I'll be done blogging about Christmas 2017 - finally!!!

1 Kind Words:

Always wear your tiara said...

loved catching up. I gave up and just started from now LOL
I don't want to blog anymore but I don't want to quit.
