In mid-March, Bri's school had their "feelin' groovy" book fair. The school encouraged the kids to dress up in a theme each day. The themes were based on the 60's, 70's and 80's. You know - the olden days - heh. To be honest, Bri told me that not that many kids participated that week (which was kind of sad). But, Bri and I thought it would be fun to do it each day. You're only young once, right?
Monday was peace sign and sunglasses day...

Tuesday was tie dye day. The best shirt B had was a disappearing ink tie dye type shirt. You see the tie dye better when the shirt is off. When it goes on, the ink starts to disappear. We still made it work...
Wednesday was 70's disco day (this was my favorite outfit of the week)...
Thursday was 80's day. That outfit was pretty easy for me to help Bri put together - ha, ha. I just remembered back to when I was in elementary school. I channeled my inner Madonna. It was also St. Patrick's Day, so we worked in some green too...
The last day was just school spirit day. That was the easiest day...
Bri was fun to dress up that week. She needed help putting some of the outfits together and just went with it. She trusted what I picked out. If she didn't like something, she told me. But for the most part, she really liked everything I helped put together.
It really was a fun week!
3 Kind Words:
You and Bri did a great job. Hoping you are feeling better and better
Love all the outfits! Her hair for 70s day was AWESOME!
