Briana's 4th Birthday Party

Yes, my sweet Briana turned 4 on Thursday and her friend birthday party was on Saturday. I have a billion pictures to go through from Thursday and from Saturday. Here are a few of my favorites...

Happy 4th Birthday Briana!!!!

My beautiful, sweet Briana turns 4 years old today. I can't believe how fast time has flown by. It seems like yesterday we were celebrating her first birthday in China. I often wish I could freeze time - I'm not ready for her to grow up yet. Sometimes I jokingly ask her not to stay little and not grow up and she says, "Mama, I HAVE to grow up!"

Happy 4th birthday my sweet girl. Hope all your birthday wishes come true.

Soccer and More Soccer

As of last Friday, soccer practice wrapped up for the summer and doesn't start back up for two weeks. Bri will miss it - she loves soccer practice. How can you not love running around for 45 minutes straight without stopping?

Here is Briana racing. She is really fast. Not as fast as C (who always wins), but she usually comes in second or third. Fast girl...

Asian Cultural Experience

Doug, Briana and I met our friends, the V Family, at the Asian Cultural Experience on Saturday. There was music, dance, arts, cuisines, drums and martial arts from China, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Laos and other Asian countries. Briana dressed up for the occasion...

The first thing we bought for Briana when we arrived was a red fan and as soon as Emily Grace arrived, she ended up with a purple fan! The girls danced with their fans almost the entire time. I have some adorable video at the end of this post, so check it out. It was so wonderful watching Briana enjoying herself at this event. We are so lucky that there are a number of events in our area that allow Briana to experience her heritage. But honestly, I think the best part for Briana was hanging out with Emily Grace. :D

Tellus Museum

This past Wednesday was my father's birthday and Bri and I met him and my mom at the science museum. Briana LOVES, LOVES, LOVES this museum. I warned my parents that we would be visiting the museum at Briana speed - which I believe is even faster than warp speed. ;) She goes from item to item, exhibit to exhibit trying to see everything as fast as possible. Briana's favorite parts are the fossil dig, the gem panning, the "big backyard" (where kids can touch all the experiments) and the dinosaur fossil gallery.
