Christmas Program Pictures and Video

Briana's first time in front of an audience. Her first Christmas program. Makes me kind of weepy. I was so afraid she would freeze up, but she was a total rock star. Sang, did the hand movements, everything. And her friend Mary Lin did amazing as well! The program started with the four year olds singing three songs, then the three year old classes (which includes Briana) came on stage and did their thing (Jingle Bells and Happy Hallelujiah Christmas Song), and then the two year old classes joined them. The two, three and four year olds did Wasn't That a Mighty Day, Feliz Navidad and We Wish You A Merry Christmas all together. It was probably one of the cutest things I have ever seen.

Favorite Photos From Bri's Preschool Christmas Program Day

Briana was sooo wonderful in her Christmas program today. I have some video and pictures of the performance that I will post tomorrow. After the program, we got to visit Briana's classroom and watch the kids eat lunch and do a book exchange. Doug, me and my mom had a wonderful time watching Briana and her classmates sing Christmas tunes. It was adorable. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day. More Fun With My New Camera!

I Got A New Camera!!!

FINALLY! I got a new camera! A Canon T1i. Yep! With all the pictures I take of my girl, I needed something more than a point and shoot. Point and shoots are convenient to carry, but not fast enough to capture my 100 mile an hour girl. I'm so excited! I just need to figure out how to use it. Here are a few test shots!

Disney Photo Pass Pictures

I ordered 4 photos from Disney Photo Pass that I really liked. I got most of the same shots they captured, but these four were too cute to pass up. Especially the nose to nose shot of Briana and Minnie Mouse. Adorable!

Quilt Square (Big) Update

It's been a while since I did an update on my square collecting! I have been collecting away! I have collected a number of squares! The above piece is so whimsical and is from my friend Lynn and her family.

And guess who contributed this next piece to Briana? Yep, PM and Miss Low-Low!

And I decided to join the OHGWQ Yahoo Group and it has been amazing! I have received so many great squares. This was my and Briana's contribution to the group. Briana fell in love with this yellow fabric, so now it will be a part of Bri's quilt too...

And I bought this fabric on behalf of my grandfather. I was very close to him. He passed in 2002, and when I saw this fabric, I immediately thought of him. He had the best sense of humor. Not only did he live life to the fullest and was full of fire, but he had a pair of shorts that he wore that was similar to this fabric. We used to tease him about those shorts, but he loved them. He never got to meet Briana, but I know he would have adored her. They would have gotten along like "peas and carrots." This fabric is for him...
