Christmas 2025 - Ornaments (Places I Have Visited)

This is my blog post of my Christmas ornaments from places I have visited. There are a few places that I have visited where I unfortunately didn't get ornaments (Nashville, San Diego, Helen, Hilton Head, Clearwater, Huntsville, etc), but I often buy magnets instead (I collect those too). I was born in Miami, but I actually don't have an ornament that says Miami - obviously a bunch of my ornaments were purchased from there.

I started with Atlanta above.

And here are many of the places I have visited...

Napa Valley, California

 Breckenridge, Colorado

 Denver, Colorado

 Golden, Colorado

Washington, DC

Amelia Island, Florida

 Disney, Orlando, Florida

 Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida

Amicalola Falls, Georgia

Blue Ridge, Georgia

Brasstown Bald, Georgia

Cartersville, Georgia

Ellijay, Georgia

Jekyll Island, Georgia

Savannah, Georgia

Tybee Island, Georgia

 Maui, Hawaii

 Notre Dame, Indiana

 Bar Harbor, Maine

 Portland, Maine

 Baltimore, Maryland

 Boston, Massachusetts

 St. Joseph, Michigan

Minneapolis, Minnesota

 Las Vegas, Nevada

NYC, New York

 Asheville, North Carolina

 Murphy, North Carolina

Chimney Rock, North Carolina

Newport, Rhode Island

 Chattanooga, Tennessee

 Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

 Woodstock, Vermont

 Beijing, China

 Grand Cayman Island

 Ocho Rios, Jamaica

So those are my places ornaments. And I hope to continue to add to my collection whenever I travel somewhere. Whenever I decorate my tree, I reminisce about those trips. I have been lucky to see a lot of this country and I hope to see more of it and other countries as well.

Christmas 2025 Recap - Decor

Yes, it is getting close to the middle of January now and I am just recapping about December.

It's been a weird start to 2026.

Briana went back to school (and I miss her). Then I started my elimination diet as soon as she left - which has been challenging to say the least. The political environment has been so nasty and supercharged, so I just haven't been in the mood to recap all about the holiday.

But, I have to try to push through and blogging does keep my mind off of things. So here I am. Talking about Christmas.

Of course, I want to show off all of my Christmas decor once again. I love decorating my house (though it is tiresome) and I was actually able to enjoy it this time because I was able to walk. I was in so much pain the last couple of years and it was so nice to be pain free.

Of course, I need to start with all my Christmas trees...

And there are a couple of other little trees that you will see in other pictures strewn in with my other decor...

These are all the lovely Christmas cards I received this year. A few less than last year, but I still received plenty. I love displaying them in my dining room...

Some more decor...

And Briana decorated a gingerbread house once again...

I am the official decorator of the inside of the house (Doug does set up the Lego village), but Doug is in charge of all the outside lights...

And these guys are located in our backyard...

Decorating is a lot of fun. But I will say as I age, it gets harder to put it all out each year. I will have to see how much longer I can keep it up.

As I decorated my trees, I decided to take pictures of all the ornaments that I have from places I have visited. I have mentioned in previous posts that my ornaments represent my life of memories. And the places I have visited is a part of that. I will blog about those ornaments in my next post. And then I will blog about the things we did at Christmas and the friends/family we spent time with.
