Maui Vacation 2019 - Day 8/Monkeypod Kitchen and Beautiful View

Doug read a lot of good things online about "Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman," so that is where we headed for our last dinner in Maui.

On the way to the restaurant, we saw another amazing rainbow. This one was so bold, bright and full...

We headed back to Whalers Village in Kaanapali (this is when we had issues finding parking in the parking garage - it took a while)...

The rainbow was still as bright as ever...

Somehow we ended up with yet another "best seat in the house" (don't know how we kept getting lucky)...

You can see we were right next to the "Hula Cafe" (where we ate a couple of days before)...

 Doug ordered the very popular Monkeypod Mai Tai with the honey liliko‘i foam...

We ordered lobster deviled eggs and spiced wings for appetizers...

Briana pretty much hogged the chicken wings for herself...

She ordered a meat pizza for dinner...

I had a lobster and mushroom pizza...

Doug ordered this scrumptious fish and shrimp pasta dish (I think it was his favorite meal of the whole trip)...

We did order dessert. Bri got gelato...

And Doug and I had to try their famous pies.

The view just kept getting prettier and prettier...
