Waterlogged - Part 2

Now I said Briana learned to swim this summer, but I didn't say she was graceful doing it. ;) Just kiddin'. The above picture was taken at Briana's last swim lesson two weeks ago. Sadly, we didn't know it at the time. With busy conflicting schedules with the mamas and the coach (due to school starting and new activities), we found that no one could really continue with the evening lessons. But Briana is swimming like a fish now and her fear of the water is completely gone. She sticks her head under water like she has always done it. That is what I wanted for her, so mission accomplished.

Now, just because we are not taking lessons doesn't mean we are not swimming though. Because we are certainly still doing that. Seriously, I have gone swimming more times this summer than I have in years.

This past Monday, we were invited to a pool date by my friend Suzanne. Bri's boyfriend, um friend, Matthew was there as well as S and C. We ate lunch and had an afternoon and water and sun...

Last week, we met my friend Angela and her crew at their neighborhood pool. They got on these rockers to dry off before going home. They were so cute...

And the last week of July, my parents came over to the pool in my neighborhood to go swimming with Bri...

Here is my golden girl. She has got quite a tan even with lots of sunscreen (and so do I for that matter)...

School starts for Briana on Monday, and the outdoor swim season will be wrapping up in the next several weeks. Briana is going to miss the water so much when the pools finally close down for fall. I, on the other hand, am a little waterlogged now and close to being ready to get out of the pool.
