Valentine's Day Recap

My little Valentine sweetheart. 

The evening before Valentine's Day, we were not quite sure if there was going to be another day off of school or not. We went with the assumption that school would commence and decided to go ahead and open our Valentine's gifts to one another in case we had a really early morning. (School did end up being cancelled, so we could really have opened them yesterday after all.)

Bri loved her gift from Gramma and Papa...

And she really loved her new Lego set from me and Daddy...

Doug looked in Pinterest and found out how to make an "exploding box." He made the whole thing and had Briana draw in it and decorate the outside. One of my favorite gifts ever...

Briana and I had some major cabin fever, so we ran some errands on Valentine's Day afternoon - including picking up her new glass lenses. Traffic was crazy - I think everyone was out and about after several days stuck in the house.

I made reservations for one of our favorite restaurants for dinner.

For dessert, we ordered the s'mores...

I wanted to take a quick shot of me and Bri and of course she got silly and made me laugh. I love how this kid makes me laugh...
