Soccer Award Dinner

Well, there they all are. Doug and his amazing girls.

As team mom, it was up to me to organize the end of the season dinner - balloons, trophies, gifts, etc.

On the first Monday of May, We held our dinner at Stevie B's (once again) and we totally needed balloons this time. We had an amazing winning season...

Doug ordered two "Argentina" soccer balls and had the girls autograph them for the coaches to keep...

Doug did an amazing job thanking the parents for all their support and also talked about each girl and their strengths. You can see the trophies ready on the table...

Anna got the "Quick Learner Award"...

Ava got the "Best New Skills Award"...

Hope received the "Most Incredible Shot Award" (she can kick the ball from the middle of the field and make a goal)...

Hadara got the "Most Improved Player Award"...

Sofia received the "Toughest Defender Award"...

Josie got the "Most Versatile Player Award"...

Ella received "The Most Goals Scored Award"...

And last but certainly not least, Briana received "The Best Teamwork Award"...

What an amazing U8 season!!!

The parents also said amazing things to Doug for all he did. The thanks, love and appreciation they shared with him was overwhelming. And they thanked me too which was so heartwarming.

I don't know what will happen next season, but I will carry the memories of this season with me forever. What a great experience!
