My friend Angela and her kids L, H and H picked Briana and I up on Thursday morning and headed to the lake for a morning of fun and exploring. It was a picture perfect day. What is better than picking dandelions, chasing butterflies, having a picnic lunch and throwing rocks in the lake? There was also a old beautiful log cabin that the kids could also explore. I asked Bri to stop playing for a millisecond and she got huffy with me. After a slight reprimand, she gave me the stink eye in the log cabin photos. Oh well. She was happy again about 5 minutes later and kids found an old iron kettle that was holding some rain water. They got some sticks and pretended to make soup for about a half an hour. It was such a beautiful day (even with some stink eye). :D
