Wednesday was zoo day! Bri was so excited to be going with her friend Matthew and his mom Suzanne. We got to the zoo at 10AM and I am so glad because it was CROWDED! But it was spring break and the weather was perfect, so it was to be expected. We saw elephants, gorillas, a lion, a tiger, bears, birds, monkeys and pandas! We were very excited because we got to see "Po" the new baby panda that is only 5 months old. On top of seeing all the animals, the kids got to ride the train and carousel, go to the petting zoo and finished the day off with dippin' dots. We didn't get home until almost 5PM. It was a FULL and fantastic day!

I have that same photo of Becky, a little older than Bri, sitting on top of that Gorilla at the Atlanta zoo. I believe that is where she found her love of pandas, too!
I love the sign behind the gorilla - I guess sitting doesn't count as climbing anyway :)
Oooooh that panda is so cute! Briana looks like a rock chick with her shades on and her hood up....funny girl! :-)
