I thought a great way to kick off Briana's winter break would be a trip to the Georgia Aquarium. My SIL had never been before, so I knew it was the perfect place to go.
We started off with the Dolphin Tales show...
Aunt Ann and Briana...
Pictures cannot be taken in the theater, so I snagged this one off the internet...
Briana ended up with a stuffed pink dolphin. She posed in front of Depot the fish...
We grabbed some lunch and then headed to the Ocean Explorer exhibit first (houses whale sharks, giant groupers, manta rays and all kinds of other fish)...
Then we headed over to the Cold Water Quest exhibit (houses Beluga Whales, Sea Otters and Penguins)...
Tropical Diver exhibit was next (houses tropical fish and jellyfish)...
This is a light up jellyfish on the roof of the exhibit...
These are the real ones...
We went to the 3D movie next and stopped next door at the Frogs exhibit...
We headed to the River Scout exhibit next (houses river otters and other river fish)...
Georgia Explorer exhibit was last. These are lion fish...
Monday was Presidents Day, so the aquarium was very crowded. And it got more and more crowded as the day went on. We finally headed out about 2:30PM...
What a fun day though! Aunt Ann loved the aquarium and spending time with Miss B. :)
(And on a side note - this is my 1400th post! Yowza!!!!!!)
