Briana had a perfect mix of activity and keeping busy during winter break. She had a couple of days of relaxation - I don't think she even got out of her jammies that Wednesday.
The Friday of winter break, we met Emma and Beverly for lunch at Panera (above). The girls always have a good time getting together - and the mamas too!
I snagged some pictures off of Doug's iPhone from the aquarium visit. He got some really good shots...
Sunday morning, Briana and Doug had a "daddy/daughter" morning. Bri drank hot chocolate and ate a cheese danish the size of her head...
They made a quick trip to Pikes Nursery too...
Briana has been begging for weeks for Doug to take the training wheels off of her bike, so Doug finally did on Sunday. She was beyond excited...
It took a few minutes for her to find her balance and Doug was helping her, but after about 15 minutes, she was getting the hang of it in small spurts...
By the end of the session, she was even starting to make turns and was figuring out how to get started on her own. She still has some work to do, but she caught on super fast!!!
And Briana must have liked winter break and didn't get too sick of me because she wrote me these love notes...
These are the absolute best words that a mom could ever get. :) I love my gal.
