Some School Stuff

Every day that Briana goes to school ~ she is a fashionista. :)

I snapped this picture of Briana one morning for Doug when he was out of town. I texted it to him so he could see her before his day started...

Briana's elementary school teacher celebrated Chinese New Year at school the entire week last week. This is something she does every year with her classes. Today is the first day of winter break, but when Bri goes back to school on Monday, her class is going to do a dragon dance all around the school.

I sent in CNY favor bags for Briana to pass out to the kids...

Last Wednesday, the school had a "Jump For Heart" event to raise money for the American Heart Association. Bri showed me her jumping skills...

And I went to the gym that day to route Briana on...

And the kicker the other day was this hilarious letter Briana wrote to me at school. She brought it home and I couldn't stop laughing. There were lots of 6 year old misspellings (which made it totally adorable), but her train of thought was so great and the letter was hilarious.

It was a total letter of bribery. I'm raising my kid right I tell ya! LOL!

It goes as follows...

Dear Mommy,

May I please have seven days of no vegetables (she spelled it vestubuls) because I might pass out if you don't. I also will do anything if you do. I might make you breakfast every day. I will concentrate (spelled conshintrat) on my homework and then I will give you a massage (spelled musowhs). I will give you lots of hugs and kisses (spelled cishes). I will also love, love, love you forever and ever. I will love you from my heart.

I totally love this kid.

 So glad Winter Break is here now. Bri always needs the break when it comes around. She works hard in school and she needs time off every now and again.
