I'm back a bit earlier than I thought! LOL!
Briana has her friend over for a sleepover tonight, so I have a little quiet bloggy time for myself.
A week ago Friday, Doug, Bri and I met our friend (Uncle) Jimmie and his friend at a local restaurant. Miss B wanted to dress up for the occasion. I bought this adorable flamenco dress on Zulily (I couldn't resist) and I was so excited when Bri fancy shoes actually matched the dress.
She felt so pretty...
Last Saturday, Team Argentina played Team England and Team France. Two more wins for us!
Briana was on fire that day! She made two goals the first game and two goals the second game. She was in the zone! She was definitely mvp for the day...
That evening, we went to friends Khalid, Ansu and Kira's house for an early birthday dinner for Khalid. Kira didn't know we were coming, and she started jumping up and down like a jumping bean when she saw Briana standing on her doorstep. It was so adorable.
The girls play so well together...
Sunday, we went to go see the new movie "The Box Trolls" at our local Xtreme theater...
It was such a cute movie. Briana asked "When can we see it again?!"
Driving home, we noticed a new store had moved into a nearby shopping center. Looks like Spirit Halloween has rented space for the months of Sept and Oct. There's just one problem ~ Party America is usually the biggest costume store around and it is in the exact same shopping center.
It was hilarious to see all the signs that were stuck in the ground. There had to be at least 50 lining the street and in the shopping center parking lot - sign for sign...
Can you say "panic mode"????
We just had to check out Spirit Halloween. I am a huge fan of Party America, so I felt like I was cheating on them a bit.
Spirit Halloween is totally insane. The things they are selling are freaking terrifying. Amazing, but terrifying. It's just really messed up. Seriously...
Peek-a-boo...
This is just so messed up. I wouldn't be able to sleep ever again if I had this thing in my house...
Could you?
I'm sure I have scarred my kid for life. And I won't be receiving any "parent of the year" awards anytime soon.
What's even more scary? Bri was really nervous around this stuff but intrigued at the same time. Just like her mama. Heh.
